Raiding and our Raid Attendance loot system:
Members are expected to attend a high percentage of raids, being on-time and prepared for those raids they attend. Members are expected to have reagents, consumables, flasks, 100% durability and a good understanding of boss abilities (not necessarily specific strats).
Invites will be done by your division leader or someone acting as their proxy 30 minutes before pull time. You are expected to be ON 30 minutes before pull time.
(Raid schedule has yet to be finalized, but raids are at 7st with invites at 6.30st)
Loot and Attendance Policies:
Loot will now be based on an attendance percentage system as measured by the dkp system posted on our website.
The mechanics are simple: a value of 10 point is assigned to people who attended a raid. Only the last 10 raids will register in the system. Therefore, your dkp value, is the % of the last 10 raids you have attended. This % will be used to determine ranks, which in turn determine loot eligibility/priority. Those who incur serious disciplinary action during a raid, will only be awarded half of the raid value, therefore potentially hurting their loot priority over the next 10 raids.
Those who are online ready and waiting to raid, but are not invited to the raid, must whisper whoever is running the wait list that night with “wl add” to be placed on the standby list (the wait list will whisper you back with a confirmation, make sure you get it). Those who are on the wait list will be given credit for attending the raid.
Nights in which we are supposed to raid, but end up not raiding due to a lack of participation may or may not result in a point being awarded at the discretion of the GMs.
Point scales:
Full raid = 10
Not full raid, but at least one boss = 5
Standby for duration of raid = 10
Standby for less than duration, but at least one boss = 5
Standby, then came in for duration of raid = 10
Note: While the system does not differentiate between full attendance and just 1 attempt those who repeatedly arrive late or leave early will be disciplined by their Division Leader with penalties such as raid or loot probation.
Ranks:
100% - 80% -- Core Raider
79% - 50% -- Raider
49% - 0% -- Casual (note, members who remain Casual rank for extended periods of time will be kicked at their Division Leader’s discretion.)
Loot:
Loot priority follows along the lines of the three ranks. Core Raiders have priority over Raiders who have priority over those on Casual. When a piece of loot drops, each of the 4 division leaders will have the opportunity to nominate one of their people for a piece, first selecting from the pool of core raiders, then raiders, then probation. If the piece is an upgrade for ANY Core Raider in ANY division, it can NOT go to a Raider no matter what division they are in. The only exception to this is if all available Core Raiders either pass or are on loot probation from their Division leader for disciplinary reasons.
Keep in mind, this is a trickle down loot system, just because you are a Raider, does not mean you will never get gear, it means that Core Raiders will get it before you. In a successful guild, everyone who raids gets geared up.
